 Hi, everyone,
welcome to a bit about me. Yep Edge Hill Productions is
me. I play bass guitar as my first instrument, but also play guitar and keyboards. I love music, any kind of music, so long as it's got feel and groove. I have a Diploma in Jazz from the Wellington Conservatorium of Music and play in various jazz combos. Another love of mine is playing Greek music and have been involved with a Greek band called M.S.K.M.S for the last 8 years. I've also played in lots of cover bands playing pop, funk, soul, blues, rock, etc. I love to write music and create. I am also an educator of music having 4 years teaching experience. from anyone interested in exchanging ideas. I am also experimenting with midi, check out some of my midi files and see if you like them. At the moment i'm involved with a band called DE JA BLUE. we can be heard playing at the BLUENOTE Live Performance venue on the corner of Vivian And Cuba Street. This is is the place to go if your tired of hearing the same old music in Night clubs and feel like seeing and hearing some of the top creative souls from the Wellington area. They have everything from Comedy , Music, Karaoke, Poetry , Burlesque Cabaret and a Jam night every Tuesday night. Check out the GIG GUIDE for the Bluenote !!! Currently I am working on an original project with a Band called Kelly Brown's Party. The band is a 4 piece with Flute, Guitar, Drums and of course Bass. I will post a real audio file soon. Also completing an album with Carol Henry, She is a very talented singer song writer. The CD should be finhed in early 2000. Our Jazz band De Ja Blue has had a line up change with the addition of Zak Dikvert who has taken on the roll of Musical Director. I must say he is doing a great job and the band is sounding slick and being noticed around town. He has bought a renewed energy to the band.
